Health Screening & EYP Orientation

December began with a focus on well-being and community engagement. Doctors from Apollo Hospitals conducted comprehensive health screenings for students, followed by an EYP orientation for prospective parents that offered curriculum insights, interactions with educators, and a guided campus tour.
Founder’s Day

Founder’s Day was marked by two grand musical productions — Alice in Wonderland and Night at the Museum. Students from PYP to MYP collaborated across schools, bringing together drama, music, dance, and storytelling in a heartfelt celebration of the legacy of Madras Seva Sadan.
Children’s Day Celebrations

Guest Speaker Session – EYP 1

EYP 1 students had an engaging and inspiring interaction with a sailor and a pilot during a guest speaker session. The professionals shared age-appropriate insights into their careers, sparking curiosity and excitement. Students eagerly asked questions, making the session both informative and memorable.
Inquisitron 2025

Inquisitron 2025 encouraged parents to become active partners in their children’s learning through a STEAM-based initiative. The highlight was an engaging treasure hunt that fostered teamwork, problem-solving, collaboration, and enthusiastic participation, making learning a shared and memorable experience.
POSH & POCSO Awareness Workshop

A POSH (Prevention of Sexual Harassment) and POCSO (Protection of Children from Sexual Offences) awareness workshop was conducted for teaching and non-teaching staff. The session focused on legal provisions, preventive measures, reporting mechanisms, and the shared responsibility of creating a safe, respectful, and inclusive school environment.
Hindi Diwas & Onam Celebrations

The campus came alive with language and culture as Hindi Diwas and Onam were celebrated together. Students showcased their creativity through poems, songs, and skits honouring the Hindi language, while the spirit of Onam was reflected through traditional attire, music, dance, storytelling, and a vibrant pookalam — celebrating diversity and togetherness.
Educational Trips – MYP Programme

Our MYP students embarked on enriching educational journeys across South India, turning travel into powerful learning experiences. From exploring the cultural heritage of Bengaluru and Mysuru to discovering the natural beauty of Kochi and Munnar, students developed independence, teamwork, self-management, and social skills. These journeys went beyond classrooms, leaving students with lifelong memories and meaningful personal growth.
Lit Arc 2025

LitArc 2025: A Celebration of Language, Literature, and Creative Expression Lady Andal School successfully hosted the 5th edition of LitArc, its annual literary fest, bringing together over 200 students from 17 schools for a vibrant and inspiring celebration of literature, language, and self-expression. Aimed at students from Grades 5 to 12, the fest featured a dynamic mix of on-campus and online events that encouraged participants to reimagine literary characters, explore cultural traditions, and blend poetry with performance. Highlights included creative showcases like Once Upon a Trend, dramatic performances such as Therukoothu and Nukkad Natak, and intellectually stimulating events like Declamation, Pattimandram, and Blackout Poetry. Online events such as Swap-It and Photo Story added further depth to the festival, allowing students to engage with storytelling in innovative ways. The fest concluded on a high note, with Adyar Theosophical Society emerging as the Overall Champions, and Gateway International School securing the Runners-Up position. We thank all participating schools for making LitArc 2025 a grand success and look forward to welcoming you again next year — with even more creativity, curiosity, and celebration!
NAFA (Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts)

Lady Andal School was abuzz with artistic excitement as we hosted the Visual Spaces Workshop in collaboration with the esteemed Faculty of Art & Design from NAFA (Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts), Singapore. We were honoured to welcome Mr. Fadzli Jamil and Mr. Jerry Koh from NAFA, who engaged meaningfully with our students and brought fresh global perspectives to the world of art and design. Young artists from schools across Chennai participated in this enriching experience, exploring creativity, design thinking, and artistic expression through hands-on activities and inspiring conversations. It was a day filled with imagination, innovation, and vibrant collaboration — a true celebration of the arts!
ANNUAL SPORTS MEET 2025

The Annual Sports meet of Lady Andal school, Sir Mutha School and Lady Andal House of Children, held on 24th July, at the University Union Grounds, Chetpet, was a spirited celebration of athleticism, unity, and school pride. The day began with a vibrant March Past, setting the tone for what followed — three striking drill displays themed ‘Roots of Resilience’, ‘Celebrating Uniqueness’, and ‘One Nation – Many Beats’. Each performance brought its own energy and message, blending strength with creativity and rhythm. The Chief Guest Mr. K.S. Vishwanathan, Managing Director of Chennai Super Kings, inspired the students with his words of encouragement. Cheers filled the air during the Victory March Past and Prize Distribution, with Emerald House proudly taking home the title of Overall Champions.
LIT ARC - 2024

The fourth edition of Lit Arc was conducted on September 12. The annual literary fest saw a blend of experiential workshops, online activities, and offline competitions. The fest brought together 12 schools for the offline events, while an even larger number participated in the online events, making it a truly collaborative celebration of creativity and expression. Shri Ram Universal School secured the Overall Championship trophy.
Padma Bhushan Lady Andal

21st Padma Bhushan was held on August 21 and 22. P. R. Neeharika, an athlete and alumni of Lady Andal Venkatasubba Rao Matriculation School was the chief guest.
Independence Day 2024

Independence Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm, featuring a march past by the students along with vibrant music and dance performances by the students of Lady Andal School, Sir Mutha School and the Madras Seva Sadan School. Aditya Varma, the HR Head, graced the occasion as the chief guest, adding to the significance of the event.

The Annual Sports Meet was held on 1st August 2024, with Mr. Gautham Gopal gracing the event as the Chief Guest. Various track and field events were held and Turquoise house secured the championship.
